Nissan's Second All-Electric Vehicle Will (Literally) Deliver The Goods

Nissan says it will produce an all-electric version of its NV200 cargo van at its assembly plant in Barcelona, Spain beginning in 2013. This will be the company’s second electric vehicle, joining the compact Leaf in dealers’ showrooms. Leveraging the Leaf’s existing electric powertrain, the e-NV200 is expected to offer a similar range, which Nissan pegs at around 100 miles on a charge (though it can be far less in the real world depending on how and where it’s driven) and achieve a similar equivalent to its EPA-certified 106 mpg in city driving.

Facebook stock climbs, but company faces lawsuits

Facebook's fourth day of trading as public company brought shareholder lawsuits, and an increase in the company's stock price as the fallout continued from the social network's botched initial public offering.

Facebook Inc.'s stock climbed $1, or 3.2 percent, to close at $32 on Wednesday.

Aerosmith debuts new song on American Idol

“Idol” was rocking tonight.

John Fogerty did two (count ‘em, two!) songs. The Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman performed “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” and “Bad Moon Rising” with Phillip Phillips.  Then there was a Neil Diamond medley with Neil himself. Wait, is Neil rock? Whatever, they did “Sweet Caroline.”

But what real rock fans were waiting for — wait, do any rock fans watch “Idol?” — was the first new Aerosmith song in a decade.

WR Tweets HIV Results, The Buffalo Bills gave WR David Clowney a clean bill of health when they signed the 26-year-old special teams ace shortly after the conclusion of the 2011 season.

Clowney, who wasn’t on an active roster in 2011 after splitting the previous season between the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers, just received another medical report from his doctors that he was only too happy to share with the world, regardless of the scrutiny it will doubtless invite.

Haslem Suspended For Game 6 Of Heat-Pacers

Udonis Haslem insists he meant no harm. The NBA deemed otherwise, and the Miami Heat will be without one of their co-captains when they try to close out the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.

Haslem was suspended for Game 6 of the Miami-Indiana Eastern Conference semifinal series, a matchup where emotions boiled over in a runaway Heat victory on Tuesday night. The NBA also said Miami reserve center Dexter Pittman will miss three games in response to his flagrant foul against Indiana backup guard Lance Stephenson in the final seconds of Game 5.

Phillip Phillips is the new 'American Idol'

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Bluesy guitar man Phillip Phillips is the new "American Idol," defeating teenage songbird Jessica Sanchez.

Phillips, a 21-year-old pawn shop worker from Leesburg, Ga., received more viewer votes than 16-year-old Sanchez of Chula Vista, Calif.

Phillips' victory Wednesday extended the "American Idol" winning streak for males to five consecutive seasons. The last female to win was 17-year-old Jordin Sparks in 2007.


Facebook Stock Continues To Tumble After IPO

Facebook shares fell again on Tuesday — dropping almost 9 percent after falling 11 percent on Monday. It makes Facebook's initial public offering one of the worst performing IPOs of the past five years.
